Guidelines
The Commission has adopted the Council of Chief Justices of Australia and New Zealand ‘Guide to Judicial Conduct’ (the Guide) published by the Australasian Institute for Judicial Administration Incorporated as guidelines about the standards of ethical and professional conduct expected of judicial officers.
The Commission also has made guidelines on conduct and practice pursuant to its professional standards functions under section 134(1) of the Judicial Commission of Victoria Act 2016 (the Act). These can be accessed below.
Policies
The Commission has published a policy that guides how it makes decisions about publishing information about complaints in accordance with the Judicial Commission of Victoria Act 2016.
