2025 Australasian Reporting Awards (ARA)

27 June 2025

The Judicial Commission of Victoria has been recognised at the 2025 Australasian Reporting Awards (ARA), claiming a Silver Award.

The ARA promotes best practice in reporting standards and recognises excellence in reporting across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

This was the first time the Commission entered the awards. The awards provided an important opportunity to benchmark our annual report against best practice criteria and receive valuable feedback about how to improve future annual reports.  The report was judged to be clear, engaging, well-structured and easy to digest.

The Silver Award recognises an annual report that provides quality coverage of most aspects of the ARA Criteria, good disclosure of key aspects of the core business, outstanding disclosure in a least one significant area and addresses current legislative and regulatory requirements.

The Silver Award is a testament to our commitment to transparency and delivering impactful reports and is the successful outcome of a collaborative approach taken by the managers and staff, across the corporate and legal areas of the Commission, and our team’s dedication, expertise, and belief in our mission.
