Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 1982 (External link) does not apply to a document in the Judicial Commission of Victoria’s possession to the extent it discloses information about a complaint or referral or an investigation, recommendation or referral under Parts 2, 3, 4 or 5 of the Judicial Commission of Victoria Act 2016 (External link).

Privacy and Data Protection

Part 5 and Health Privacy Principle 6 of the Health Records Act 2001 (External link) and Information Privacy Principle 6 of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (External link), do not apply to a document or any information held by the Judicial Commission of Victoria or an investigating panel that relates to a complaint or referral or an investigation, recommendation or referral under Parts 2, 3, 4 or 5 of the Judicial Commission of Victoria Act 2016 (External link).
