Appointment of the Director - Alexis Eddy

The Director of the Judicial Commission is appointed by the Chief Executive Officer of Court Services Victoria on the recommendation of the Board under section 128(1) of the Judicial Commission of Victoria Act 2016.

The Director is responsible for the administration of the Commission and to the Board in relation to the operation of the Commission. The functions of this role include providing administrative assistance to any Investigating Panels appointed.

Director - Alexis Eddy

Alexis Eddy joined the Judicial Commission of Victoria in October 2019. Before commencing her role at the Judicial Commission of Victoria she managed the in-house legal team at the Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission (IBAC). Prior to that Alexis was with the Office of Police Integrity. 

She has an expert understanding of the Victorian integrity regime, best practice policies and procedures as well as in depth knowledge of the court system and government operations across Victoria.
